A final reminder that entries for our Fun Show close tonight! So don't delay get those entries in! We are taking entries on the day but why not save a few pounds by getting them in early. Copy of schedule also attached.

Fun Show Schedule

This will be a great day trying out Boyton Hall as our venue of choice. Lots of beautiful rosettes and sashes on offer as well as fun classes for all ages! Adults we have you covered for fun classes!

Please remember you must have your horses passports with you, they will be checked on arrival - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Any questions please let me know, the day is about having fun and giving things a go.

FUN RIDE AT CHILLESFORD ESTATE

SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER 2026

We are delighted to have organised another fun ride to take place on the CHILLESFORD ESTATE, near Woodbridge with two/three routes - approximately 8 and 4 miles, plus a short route (for mini members on lead rein).

There will also be an opportunity for carriage drivers, setting off before the main ride starts.

The routes will mainly be on sandy tracks and field margins. Riders will be expected to wear hi-viz, carry a mobile phone and ride with at least one other person, in case of emergency. Please show consideration to other riders and horses.

Refreshments will not be available so we suggest you bring a picnic to enjoy and share after your ride.

Open to non-members so please bring your friends!

If you want a faster ride please try and set off before 9.30am if possible.

Rosettes for all finishers.

This ride will go ahead regardless of number of entries but pre-entry will still be required.

Bookings close at 3pm on Wednesday 23 September 2026.

Parking will be on a field and signposted off the main track.

All profits will be donated to Royal British Legion on behalf of Mr and Mrs George Watson.

The London International Horse Show

Hi everyone!

 

We are delighted to be able to offer our members the opportunity to attend The London International Horse Show this year!

Booking is now open on WebCollect to current GRS members only. Booking is strictly on a first come, first served basis. A deposit of £25 will be required.

Tickets are priced at £87.00 for members which includes travel via coach to and from the show. 

Pick up point will Stowmarket train station at 8am on the Saturday morning. 

We will be arriving in time to watch the Saturday afternoon performance. For the full program please check out the show website.

All under 18's must be accompanied by an adult, if the adult is not a current GRS member, a full price ticket will need to be selected and paid for.   

Non-member tickets will be £113 each including travel as above and will go on sale on Monday 12th October.

We have several events throughout the year, including Spring Dressage, social evenings, car boot, Autumn dressage, Pleasure Ride, Mini-Member training sessions, a club camp, an online dressage league and more evening Show Jumping.

Last year we ran a Summer Camp at Forest Edge Arena in August. We offered a full camp with lessons and training, or a hacking camp, for those more laid back riders among us. it proved very popular, so we will run another in July this year
